SCC Audubon Club Field Trips Dates and Information
FIELD TRIPS ARE IN DRIVING DISTANCE. WE CARPOOL WHEN POSSIBLE.
Members of the club and their guests can join us on our field trips. Details are available at our meetings, and there is a sign-up form at the top of this page. The trip leader will send an email reminder a couple of days before the trip. Most of the time, we meet in the Community Hall lot at 9 AM to carpool. Sometimes we go to lunch together after our tour. Other times the meal is part of the tour. YOU MUST SIGN UP HERE TO ATTEND A FIELD TRIP. REMEMBER TO HIT THE RED 'SUBMIT' BUTTON TO SIGN UP! And remember to include your email & telephone number.
GUESTS MAY ATTEND ONLY ONE FIELD TRIP BEFORE THEY NEED TO JOIN THE CLUB AND PARTICIPATE IN ADDITIONAL FIELD TRIPS.
Tuesday, July 15 - Latitudes Sunset Tour

Price of $52 includes waterfront dinner. There will be a discount if enough people sign up. Meet to arrive at Latitudes by 6:30 PM.
Wednesday, August 13, Museum of Fine Arts
The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete has almost 5,000 years of civilization in thousands of objects from antiquity to the present. The collection includes works by Georgia O’Keeffe, Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Auguste Rodin, Kehinde Wiley, Jacob Lawrence, and many others, as well as ancient Greek and Roman, Asian, African, Art of the Americas, and Native American art. We'll carpool to St. Pete Pier, park on the pier and shuttle or walk to the museum. Cost is $17. The museum has a cafe, and there are many other choices in the area.
Monday, September 22 - Fishhawk Creek Preserve & Lithia Springs
Fishhawk Creek is an over 3,000 acre tract with over 3 miles of trails, adjacent to Lithia Springs Conservation Park. You will enter Lithia Springs Conservation Park and turn left. There is a $2 fee per vehicle. We can hike a little, and cool off in the springs afterward for an additional fee. Bring a lunch and perhaps a chair to enjoy in the pavilions.
